Ramadan 2025 begins on 1st March, the crescent moon may be spotted in Saudi Arabia
The crescent moon, which marks the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, hasn’t been sighted in Saudi Arabia on the evening of 28th February 2025, the authorities have announced. So, the 28th February, is the last day of the month of Shaaban, and the holy month of Ramadan will begin on 1st March 2025.
UAE’s moon-sighting committee had earlier announced it would meet after the Maghreb prayer at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department to indicate the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
